Mathematical Modeling & Analysis of Complex Systems CIMPA School Kenya 2015.

Venue: Lake Naivasha Panorama Park,Naivasha, Kenya

Dates: 20 to 31 July 2015

Registration Deadline : May 3, 2015

Motivation

The intersection between mathematical modelling and field data needs emphasis to let the researchers connect the classroom mathematics with the social problems Kenyan society is facing. The objective of this Research School is to provide complements in theory of dynamical systems, give a comprehensive methodology of biological and technical modelling, describe the tools that allow deriving and understanding results obtained from the model, and finally promote collaboration with other scientists and mathematicians and improve communication

Lecturers

  • Enesto Estrada; Structure &s dynamics of complex network
  • Wilson Lamb; Functional analytic techniques to evolution equations
  • Jacek Banasiak; Mathematical models in population dynamics
  • Mapundi Banda; Flow and transport processes inn biological and technial system
  • Sallet Gauthier; Dynamical Systems supplementsCarol Shubin; Social distancing & Markov Chains for infectious diseases
